Studio ARTES artist residency at Government House
As part of the Garden Music event, six artists with intellectual disabilities undertook an artist-in-residency at Government House. Their works, inspired by both the exterior and interiors, are on display on the arcade.
Studio ARTES provides training and marketing opportunities for adults with disabilities in the areas of recreational and vocational art. Studio ARTES also enables members to express themselves in a variety of creative ways providing programs for adults with a disability in performing arts and opportunities for members to develop skills and perform.
Studio ARTES also provides outlets for artistic expression and endeavours to raise the appropriate funds through businesses and government agencies to support these ventures.
