Important information
- Please plan to arrive before the start time of your booked program to allow for cloaking, toilet visits and/or a refreshment break for the students. Late arrival will result in the program being shortened to compensate. This will necessarily entail some elements and activities being cut from the program.
- Large groups will be divided up into smaller groups for activities in the museums
- No bags, food or drinks are permitted in the museums and cloaking facilities are provided
- Photography policies vary between the museums so please ask a member of staff for details
- Discipline of students remains the responsibility of teachers and carers accompanying the group. Teachers and carers are required to remain with the group at all times.
- Prior to your visit please advise staff if any of your students have special needs or learning difficulties so we can plan to accommodate their needs during the visit.

Elizabeth Farm
Access
Wheelchair access to all areas except the kitchen and cellar. The kitchen can be viewed from the doorway.
Parking
Elizabeth Farm is approximately 30 minutes drive from the centre of Sydney. Bus parking is available at the western end of Alice Street between Arthur and Alfred Streets.
Public Transport
If travelling by public transport, you can catch the Parramatta RiverCat from Circular Quay. Elizabeth Farm is a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride from the ferry stop. It is a short walk to the house from either Harris Park (Western Line) or Rosehill (Carlingford Line) train stations. The express train from Central train station takes 30 minutes to Parramatta. Change at Parramatta for Harris Park or Rosehill train station or the walk takes approximately 20 minutes from Parramatta.

Government House
Access

There is no bus parking at Government House, however buses may stop to allow students to disembark at the drop off bay on Macquarie Street, opposite the Quay Grand Suites. There are bus parking zones on Macquarie Street which require drivers to remain with their vehicles
Public Transport
It is a 10 minute walk from Circular Quay and Circular Quay train station and a similar distance from Martin Place train station.

Hyde Park Barracks Museum

There is no bus parking at Hyde Park Barracks Museum, however buses may stop to allow students to disembark at the bus stop on Prince Albert Road. There are bus parking zones on Macquarie Street which require drivers to remain with their vehicles.
Public Transport
The Barracks are located at the north end of Hyde Park in central Sydney. It is less than a five minute walk from St James train station (City Circle Line) or a ten minute walk from Martin Place station (Eastern Suburbs Line).

There is no designated bus parking at Meroogal, however there is limited street parking available.
Transport
Meroogal is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes drive from the centre of Sydney.
There is a daily train service from Central Station, Sydney to Bomaderry, Nowra. The train takes approximately 3 hours, and requires a change at Kiama.

A people-mover is available for students with mobility difficulties. Please advise at the time of booking.
Facilities
There is a covered area for children to sit for recess and lunch.
There is a small play area within the Education Centre Amphitheatre, which is ideal for teacher and parent supervision of children during recess and lunch.
Parking
There is bus parking in the Rouse Hill House & Farm car park, opposite the Visitor Centre. A member of staff will greet you outside the Visitor Centre and take you inside the property for a short walk to the Education Centre to discuss the plan for your day.
Rouse Hill House & farm is a 45 minute drive from the centre of the city. If driving from the city, take the M2 then turn right onto Old Windsor Road (ignore the turn-off to Windsor Road that you pass beforehand) and left into Annangrove Road, then turn into our signposted driveway.
If driving from Windsor, take Windsor Road and turn right into Annangrove Road, then turn into our sign-posted driveway.
Susannah Place Museum

Public Transport
Susannah Place Museum is located in the heart of The Rocks in central Sydney. There is a walking route from George Street, via Globe Street to Harrington Street. From here walk up Cumberland Place Steps to the museum entrance.
It is a ten minute walk from Circular Quay and Circular Quay train station.

Vaucluse House
Access

Parking
There is bus parking available at Vaucluse House. Turn into the grounds off Wentworth Road to access the carpark.
Vaucluse House is located 15km east of the Sydney CBD. If driving from the CBD follow New South Head Road through Rose Bay and then turn left at the intersection of Vaucluse Road. Follow Vaucluse Road for approximately 1.5 kilometres at which point it veers into into Wentworth Road. Follow Wentworth Road for approximately 500 meters to the car park entrance on the right.
Public Transport
The 325 bus goes past the front of the property en route from Circular Quay, or Watsons Bay, however, the quickest way is to catch the train to Edgecliff Station on the Eastern suburbs & Illawarra Line, then take bus 325 from there. The bus trip takes approximately ½ hour from Edgecliff.
