Image reproduction
The Historic Houses Trust encourages the reproduction of images of its properties and collections, however in order to ensure the integrity of the reproductions is maintained, publishers are required to comply with certain terms and conditions.
Publications, multimedia and products
HHT can supply images for reproduction in printed materials (including books, journals, magazines), in electronic formats (including television and film productions, websites, enewsletters) and for products (including calendars, greeting cards).
HHT will supply images in digital formats (tif/jpg) at either 300dpi, A4, or 72dpi on CD-ROM. To order photographic materials for reproduction please complete and return the ‘Permission to reproduce application form: Publications and Multimedia’.
Please refer to ‘Photographic sales reproduction fees’ for material costs and reproduction and publication fees. Please note: concession rates are available for educational and scholarly uses, and in certain instances fees may be reduced or waived at the discretion of the HHT. Fees will be quoted upon receipt of an application and a tax invoice issued.
If you wish to obtain images for private research, reference and study purposes or for presentations, please complete and return the ‘Research, study, presentation application form’. Please note: the Justice & Police Museum collection has a separate application form.
Images can be delivered by email (limit of 5) or burnt to CD-ROM for posting or personal collection.
Payment can be made by credit card, personal cheque, bank cheque or money order.

Display prints
HHT offers a special one-off print service where you may purchase high quality photographic prints for personal display in your home. Copyright restrictions may apply.
Please complete and return the ‘Display quality prints application form’. Please note: the Justice & Police Museum collection has a separate application form. Print sizes available and prices are listed on the forms.
Prints are only available of works that are part of HHT collection. We cannot make reproductions of works that are owned by third parties.
Payment can be made by credit card, personal cheque, bank cheque or money order.
Printing times can vary, so please allow at least four weeks from receipt of the application for delivery. Prints will be delivered by post or can be collected in person.
