The support of the private sector is absolutely vital to the HHT’s ability to achieve a diverse and progressive range of activities. The Foundation exists to facilitate this support.
Through tax deductible giving, the Foundation encourages private and corporate entities to help the HHT foster and share our unique cultural history in Australia’s oldest state. Since 2001 substantial support from our donors has enabled tangible progress in the five main areas in which the Foundation works: education, endangered houses fund, special acquisitions, development and conservation.

The Foundation is a Public Company (Historic Houses Trust Foundation Ltd) that administrates a Public Ancillary Fund with Deductible Gift Recipient status (Item 2) and Charitable Tax Concessions (GST and Income Tax Exempt).
