MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Are you interested in sharing your time and talent with the HHT?

Whatever your interests or skills the HHT welcomes volunteer involvement in a variety of capacities. Volunteers may provide short-term or long-term commitment to such things as guiding, research, special projects or supporting events and public programs.

The generous efforts of volunteers help us achieve our core objectives of managing sites of historical and cultural importance for the education and enjoyment of the community.

Volunteers strengthen and enrich our programs deriving a great sense of fulfillment and satisfaction from their work.

If you are interested please check our current volunteering opportunities.

ABOUT

Volunteers have been part of the HHT for over 20 years. The volunteer program is a vital component of our operations. At present there are 210 volunteers all of whom provide a valuable link to the wider community by helping to raise awareness of the cultural heritage of NSW and promoting our exhibitions, events, special programs and other activities.

Volunteers offer their skills, time and experience. In return, our volunteers are provided with opportunities for learning, recreational and social activities. Volunteers work with a select group of people who share similar interests.
