This one-day event, transforms the grounds of Government House into a music festival where audiences enjoy live music representing a diverse mixture of genres. Set against the stunning backdrop of Government House – Sydney’s grandest location, visitors can relax, picnic or take advantage of the food and drink on sale, stroll the grounds and take a peek inside the State rooms of the people’s palace. All are welcome to take a look around the opulent staterooms of Government House and inspect the refurbishment and new furnishing created by some of the best contemporary artists and furniture designers in the magnificent drawing room. A garden games arena including croquet, badminton and quoits adds to the festival atmosphere and a great selection of food and wine is available.
